Proving Baudelaire wrong, not everything in newspapers is horrible, terrible stuff. Some of it is kick-ass infobits.



From a Sun-Times article on the state's attempt to secure a rare Lincoln artifact, entitled $5 million for Abe's hat? To which any reasonable person would respond, "that's all?"

The State Library of South Australia has an impressive collection of the scrapbooks of Sir Donald Bradman, who was sort of the Babe Ruth of Australian cricket, apparently.
