Next: the Blagojevich reforms

"It is time for [Rod Blagojevich] to put the Blagojevich fund-raising machine in storage and to put the full force of his persuasive powers behind convincing legislators to enact the campaign financing reforms he says he favors," says Rev. Jennifer Kottler of Protestants for the Common Good, one of eight reform groups that are taking the second-term governor at his word. Details of his 2005 proposal -- which included a ban on union and corporate giving, more disclosure, and contribution limits -- are at the Illinois Campaign for Political Reform's blog.
