The exhibit also includes displays honoring the Chinese New Year, Diwali, Kwanza, Ramadan, Hanukkah, Visakha Puja Day, and Saint Lucia Day as well as demonstrations of winter solstice rituals from around the world. The museum is open New Year's Eve from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM; admission is $9 for adults, $7.50 for seniors, and $5 for children ages 3 to 11, with discounts for Chicago residents. Also on display at the museum through January 5 is "Titanic: The New Exhibition" (admission is an additional $10). See www.msichicago.org.
