Subscribing to the Reader

The Reader is distributed free at more than 1,000 locations in Chicago and close-in suburbs. For a location near you call 312-828-0350.

Subscriptions are available by mail in the U.S. for $95 per year. Foreign subscriptions cost $200 per year. Include check or money order payable to Chicago Reader, Inc., and mail to Reader Subscriptions, 11 East Illinois, Chicago 60611.

Please note that subscription copies are usually received 3-5 days after publication date in the Chicago area. Please allow a maximum of 4 weeks for fulfillment of your subscription.

Back Issues

The online Reader Archive contains all articles published since January 1992, plus a small selection of articles published previously. Searching is free; full texts are priced at $1.95 and $3.95 depending on length.

Back issues within one year can be purchased for $1.00 at our office, 11 E. Illinois, Monday through Friday 8:30-5:30. By mail, the cost is $5.00 for an entire issue or $2.00 for one section. Specify issue date and send a check or money order to Reader Back Issues, 11 E. Illinois, Chicago IL 60611.

Photocopies of articles more than one year old can be purchased for 50 cents per page. Inquire by E-mail at backissues@chicagoreader.com.
