Subscriptions

The Reader is distributed free to more than 2000 locations in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. For a location in your area, call the distribution department at 312-828-0350.

Subscriptions are available by mail in the U.S. for $95 per year. To order through the mail, include a check or money order payable to Chicago Reader and send to Subscriptions, Chicago Reader, 11 E. Illinois Street, Chicago, IL 60611-3541. To pay by credit card, call 312-828-0350.

Note that subscriptions are generally received 3-5 days after Thursday's publication date. Please allow a maximum of 4 weeks for fulfillment of your subscription.

Back Issues

Back issues within one year can be purchased for $1 at our office, Monday through Friday 8:30 AM-5:30 PM. To have an issue mailed, specify issue date, include a $5 check or money order payable to Chicago Reader, and send to Back Issues, Chicago Reader, 11 E. Illinois Street, Chicago, IL 60611-3541.
