I appreciate your good work. In Orland Park I am witnessing the use of TIF's by our Mayor to demolish an unblighted profitable mall to fulfill his vision for a new downtown, full of condos. He ran into a snag, and is now using eminent domain as his tool. The Village is also using TIF's to build a connecting bridge between malls. We only have silent voices, no local state or county official has taken a position for or against the Mayor. The Orland Park Mayor is a product of Chicago politics, is there a need to say more? The TIF Act needs to be changed.
