Chicago Reggae Festival
The second annual Chicago Reggae Festival is this Saturday in Union Park at Lake and Ashland. Headliner Bunny Wailer—a founding member of the Wailers, alongside Bob Marley and Peter Tosh—is making his first Chicago appearance. Between the main-stage acts reggae DJs will spin, including Slacky J of WLUW 88.7 FM and Lenky of Power 92.3 FM. Tickets are $20, $15 in advance, and a portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the Global Alliance for Africa. Children 12 and under get in free with a paid adult admission. For more info call 773-868-3010 or visit chicagoreggaefestival.com.
