Fall Fashion Accessories, stores, and Web sites
Finishing Touches Almost all of the participating clothing designers had
items picked by someone, but a few of the accessories that went unused were just too nice to leave out:
Navy ties are on the safe side, but look closely at this one and you’ll see the pattern is made of little horseshoes. A stained-glass design or a pattern of winding, blooming vines is less traditional but doesn’t scream “I’m a wild and crazy guy!” either. Bird Dog Bay handmade, handprinted silk navy tie, $75, at Shirts on Sheffield and birddogbay.com. Stained-glass and vine handmade silk ties, $15 each, at thetiebar.com. |

This biblike accessory is almost Dada-esque in its challenge to the usual definition of “necklace,” with vintage beaded and faux-pearl necklaces sewn onto stretchy fabric. Grainline by Soo Choi necklace, $240, available by e-mailing the designer at sooc77@yahoo.com. |
A lot of silk shawls will instantly age you about 20 years, but not this bubbly specimen of woven, shiny silk; in wine with champagne shades on the other side. Cora silk shawl, $92, by She Complete, at Hazel and online at shecomplete.com. |

Anna Fong and Colleen Soisson of Heroine Chic make big belt buckles look delicate with detailed images. Butterfly buckle, $100, with distressed white leather belt, $20, and stamped wood-grain buckle, $50, with brown belt, $32, at the Silver Room or heroine-chic.com. |
Joann Lysiak spaced out the vintage charms, old keys, and coins on this necklace instead of clustering them together—making it easier to check out each one. Charm and oxidized sterling silver chain necklace by Joann Lysiak Designs, $140, at joannlysiak.com. |

Whether polished or rough, iridescent druzy quartz from Brazil looks like it was carved out of a meteorite instead of an earthbound geode. One of One Jewelry designer Samantha Goldberg uses it both ways to make striking pendants. “Yolk” necklace, $600, and “Slab” necklace, $500, both with sterling silver custom-cut backs and chains, from a line available at Hejfina and oneofonejewelry.com. |
This simple envelope-like clutch
is roomy and boasts a closure that’s a nice example of form following function. Bocue Bags’ Pliega clutch, $125, at bocue.com. |
