Madison rivals the Lake Street/Fulton Market area for retail dominance in the West Loop, but it recently got a leg up: the 2 Sisters Boutique, a specialist in affordable fashion. This is the first city location for sibs Elaina Bonacci and Gina O’Donnell, who opened a boutique in Park Ridge about three years ago. The clothes are trendy but not overly so: Separates like a short, black double-breasted coat by Deep Los Angeles ($66) or a boxy, silver short-sleeved top by Lucca ($68) could fit almost any wardrobe. There are plenty of little party dresses for the holidays, including a sleeveless metallic gray shift with bronzy paillettes at the collar by Beaubois ($113) and a simple black strapless dress with ruching at the bust by Sirali ($120). A lot of the jewelry looks more expensive than it is; a bracelet made of clusters of matte gold-colored beads by RED goes for just $46. Vigoss jeans, bags by Ferris & Mor, and a selection of shoes round out the inventory. —Heather Kenny
