Word Outleaps the World

When: Thu., Dec. 13, 6 p.m. 2012
The Poetry Foundation celebrates the recent installment of ancient Greek, Roman, and Byzantine art in the Art Institute’s new Mary and Michael Jaharis Galleries (opened 11/11) with Word Outleaps the World. Passages from Homer, Plotinus, Sophocles, Seneca, and Virgil will be dramatically read by local actors as the Hubbard Street dancers "interpret images and ideas to measure the impact of this great literature in our own time."
