Robert Aldrich's “daring” 1968 mating of lesbianism and commerce was, as I recall, considered pretty tame even then; lord knows what it looks like today. Based on a Frank Marcus play, with Beryl Reid, Coral Browne, and young Susannah York showing off her bod. Not what Aldrich will be remembered for, but the kind of thing he turned out a little too often for comfort. R, 138 min.
