The game and the spectators are both afoot in this promenade-style adaptation of the famous Sherlock Holmes mystery, directed by Bradley Baker for Theatre-Hikes. While the audience navigates the trails of Morton Arboretum, Holmes and his steadfast sidekick, Dr. Watson, race from Baker Street to the dreary moors of Devon to discover why members of the Baskerville family have been meeting untimely ends. Could they be victims of the fabled hound of hell that locals say roams the countryside? As an amiable Watson and a comically pompous Holmes respectively, David Fink and Brendan Stallings pull off the duo's chummy dynamic with a sense of ease. F. Andrew Leslie's adaptation is fit for sleuths of all ages. —Marissa Oberlander
