In this rotely inspirational documentary by first-time director Michel O. Scott, hippie travel writer Rupert Isaacson and his psychologist wife, Kristin Neff, take their four-year-old autistic son, Rowan, to Mongolia to see what local shamans can do for his condition. No one mentions the fact that the couple had already pocketed a six-figure publishing advance for a book about their healing journey, and Scott̢۪s credibility as a neutral observer is not bolstered when Isaacson orders him to shut off his camera and help change the kid's crap-filled drawers. The film reveals its true colors at the end, with a plug for the New Age dude ranch the entrepreneurial couple has since established in Texas. 93 min.
