Our Review

A Celtic hangout near the Old Town School of Folk Music. The long room, divided into front and back spaces, is handsomely finished in dark oak with tin ceilings. In case you forget where you are, panels of glass etched with the name of the place divide the wood booths lining one wall. The menu is full of expected specialties like Irish stew, beer-battered fish-and-chips, and shepherd's pie, all prepared in a rustic style and served in large portions. Live music, offered several nights a week, is relegated to the back room, keeping the noise level in the front conducive to conversation.
