This 1970 animated feature is dull, careless, and all too typical of the Disney studio's slapdash output before the unexpected renaissance of The Rescuers (1977). Interestingly, this is one of the few Disney features with cats for heroes; usually, felines provided Disney with his slimiest, sneakiest villains (cf Lady and the Tramp).
