The decor is average--mirrored wals, fake plants--but the food is excellent, and the menu covers everything I've ever seen and then some. The owners' daughter, Linda, sat with us throughout the meal and helped us pick every course, from appetizers to soup, main course, and dessert. (On another occasion she politely borrowed the Metro section of a customer's Trib.) The pho may not be the best on Argyle, though it's still plenty satisfying on a cold winter night, but the sizzling shrimp dish (ask Linda -- it's one of her favorites) was especially tasty, as was the spicy shrimp soup. This is what a family restaurant should feel like.
