Poking fun at the Bard's lame lady characters might make for a decent show, but this effort by Ever Mainard and Alicia Queen isn't it. On opening night, the duo struggled through 45 minutes of what came across as a partly scripted, partly improvised, wholly underrehearsed look at about a dozen of the reported 132 women Shakespeare created. The few fleshed-out scenes—including a Reduced Shakespeare-style version of Romeo and Juliet and a bit between Ganymede and Zeus—manage some humor. But why include the tale of male pederasty? Next time, fellow female women, take the Boy Scout motto to heart and be prepared. —Laura Molzahn
