A surgeon (Cary Elwes) and a photographer (Leigh Whannell) wake to find themselves shackled at opposite ends of a scummy toilet, a body lying on the floor between them. They've been kidnapped by a serial killer who likes to force his victims into horrific and deadly stunts, and he wants the surgeon to save himself by murdering the photographer. Danny Glover costars in this sicko horror film, whose sadism is topped only by its absurdity. James Wan directed a story he dreamed up with Whannell. R, 100 min.
