printersball.org
Touting itself as "one of the largest free celebrations of literary culture in the country," the Poetry Foundation's Printers' Ball is sure to delight the Harriet Monroe in all of us. Honoring literary and print culture in Chicago, the event features the Baffler's literary quiz show, readings by poets Will Alexander and Andrew Joron, a multimedia presentation from Paul de Jong of electronic outfit the Books fame, and DJ sets from the Numero Group, to name only a few. —Jordan Larson
