The decor is odd -- patio furniture adorned with sunny yellow damask and a floor that features stepping-stones set in loose gravel -- but this Korean teahouse is charming nevertheless. Tea flavors include ginger, citron, and ginseng, plus the offbeat jujube (the berry, not the candy) and mixed nut. Regular coffee drinks are also available. The only course served is dessert, which ranges from palate cleansers like coconut or peach sorbet in a hollowed-out coconut shell to rich offerings like tartufo, cheesecake, and tiramisu. It's a frequent stop for locals after a spicy meal at one of the many Korean restaurants nearby; it also has a following of North Park University students.
