Don't miss our critics' reviews of all the bands playing Friday.
30 PM: Skip Outer Minds, go to Lower Dens. I heard they tore it up in NYC a few months back.
15 PM: Willis Earl Beal. That Reader piece on him a year ago captured the enduring awesomeness of lo-fi freaky antifolk.
00 PM: At this point start tweeting about how stoked I am for Dirty Projectors, a band that frequently makes me feel as if I am experiencing music for the first time.
30 PM: Hit up A$AP Rocky to hear him say he's that pretty MF (though how anyone can still like that crew after the Nardwuar interview is beyond me).
15 PM: Japandroids for two-piece solidarity, not to mention the fact they rock so fucking hard it's unbelievable.
20 PM: Die of joy at Dirty Projectors; attain more enlightened state.
20 PM: Skip Purity Ring because it sounds like Christian birth control, then sort of lazily half-listen to Feist and maybe remember that time I defused a Thanksgiving crisis at my house by playing Feist for my mom and aunt from a laptop in the kitchen.
