Lettuce Entertain You’s Little Italy concept has proved to be one of its most popular and replicable, with multiple locations serving food that Raters find consistently good if not stellar. Family-style is the name of the game here, and Maggiano’s has mastered the technique. Though waits can be long, the atmosphere is pleasantly crowded and lively, and the selection of Italian favorites is massive, with more than 20 pasta preparations, eight chicken dishes, and plenty of steak, veal, and seafood options. Traditional tiramisu and spumoni are among the several desserts. The baked mushroom ravioli appetizer is excellent, and salads are abundant and fresh. Come hungry -- the portions are huge.
