Having orbited the moon and survived the Apollo 13 mission, Captain James Lovell now turns to truly hazardous duty -- the restaurant biz -- with his son James III as executive chef. Lovell seems to have spared no expense in building and decorating this luxurious contemporary American restaurant. The walls of the main-floor dining room are covered with famous photos and relics of the Apollo 13 mission; the lower level is a clubby martini lounge, complete with a fireplace and oversize leather furniture. The menu features country-club favorites such as roast duck, pork chops, veal medallions, rack of lamb, and desserts.
