Our Review

Parisian-bred baker Vincent Colombet produces exquisitely flaky croissants, pain au chocolate, pain almond, and pain raisin as well as transporting boules, batards, and baguettes from his Elston Avenue bakery and cooking school—and now that a noncompete agreement he was initially burdened by has been worked out, you no longer have to buy his pastries by the dozen. In addition there are methodically griddled crepes, both sweet and savory, and an expanded assortment of French imports (sea salts, chestnut puree, snacks and candies, jellies).
