When a crap comedy opens in Chicago, the publicist will corral critics into a public screening where gales of laughter from "real people" are supposed to cow us into writing a favorable review. Occasionally this gambit backfires, and we sit in stone-dead silence with the "real people" as the movie crashes and burns. Such was the case with this wretched, long-shelved 2010 pot comedy about two students (Matt Bush, Sean Marquette) facing a schoolwide drug test mandated by their prissy principal (Michael Chiklis, clumsily riffing on Ray Walston in Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Jeffrey Jones in Ferris Bueller's Day Off). Adrien Brody delivers the movie's only solid laughs as a heavily tattooed drug dealer who supplies the kids with the crystalline THC they need to dose the entire school and thus obviate the test results. Stay away from this one, dude—it's fucking oregano! John Stalberg directed.
Sorry there are no upcoming showtimes for High School
