The cinema verite movement finally unveiled its exploitative heart with this unpleasant 1976 documentary on Edith Ewing Bouvier and her daughter Edie—two relatives of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis living in squalor and oblivion amid the ruins of their East Hampton estate.
