This fittingly hyperactive documentary about the Moto Grand Prix—professional motorcycle racing's most prestigious event—follows top riders throughout the 2001 and 2002 seasons. Director Mark Neale focuses on the fierce personal rivalry between the competition's two biggest stars, Max Biaggi and Valentino Rossi, an entertaining fig leaf that barely conceals the film's promotional nature. Those craving more visceral kicks will be gratified by the endless crash sequences, but despite the perverse thrill of seeing guys fly off their motorcycles at 150 miles per hour, the crack-ups wear thin after the first hour. Ewan McGregor narrates. 103 min.
