One of the top politburo officials in Poland (Donald Sutherland) suddenly finds himself stripped of his power and under surveillance for unexplained reasons, in a thriller directed by John Irvin (Raw Deal, Next of Kin) from a script by Andrzej Krakowski and Richard Gregson that is based on a true story. Anne Archer plays the hero's wife; with Paul Freeman, Jodhi May, and Anthony Bate.
