Tim Kazurinsky, Susan Messing, T.J. Jagodowski, and Dave Pasquesi—all fixtures on the Chicago comedy scene—appear in this improvised local production, but unfortunately they're never onscreen together. The movie jumps between six conversations taking place simultaneously in a coffee shop before closing time. The scenarios are all improv standbys (a barista has a crush on his coworker, a philandering couple rendezvous in the bathroom while their spouses sit outside, etc.), and the dialogue seldom arrives at any insights about them. But this may have some interest as a document of a local acting tradition. Jack C. Newell directed.
