By Brian LarkinIn your column [Hot Type, June 13] you asked who corks bats and why this hasn't been addressed. Do you watch Cub games? Steve Stone has done a good job explaining this. He said many players ask the clubhouse man to take care of it. The clubhouse man either does it himself, usually at home, or gives it to someone else who knows how. Stone said he knew of one situation where the batboy's father corked bats for players.
