      <![CDATA[Well, I think it depends on what they cover with the short articles. Frankly, that paper has too many, long, boring foreign stories about topics that nobody cares about. Things like environmentally stable approaches to raising parrots, or the yak poachers of the western Asian plains. 
    
    Fact is, when I read the Trib, I know a lot about what's going on in the world, but the Sun-Times tells me what's going on in my neighborhood -- crime, events, etc. 
    
    If the Trib gave me a bunch of short stories about that sort of thing so that I knew why the cops were out on my street all last night, I think it'd be an improvement over what they do now.
