<![CDATA[The Bush/Cheney/McCain/Clinton Axis went to town on Obama at the debate. Are we sure that George isn't still on the McCain/Clinton Axis payroll? I mean, would a reputable journalist let Sean Hannity spoonfeed him a question? I'm a conservative and a progressive, a small town religious hunter, and the debate convinced me that Obama is the only candidate left standing who is interested in doing the most good for the most people. Far from whining, he stood up to the Axis, held out his chin, and took their best shot. In November, I'm voting for Obama, either because he's on the ballot or because I write in his name. Too bad the Clinton Axis doesn't have the courage to withdraw honorably rather than try to take Obama down with her.

<![CDATA[If you want to know how George feels about Hillary and Bill, read his autobiography and stop making assumptions without all the information. He does not have a good relationship with them. He resigned from his position because he didn't agree with them and has been outspoken about it. So, no, the moderators are not Clinton supporters. Stop being bitter because Obama finally got the same treatment Clinton has received and he couldn't take the heat. The republicans are going to eat him alive and they won't be handling him with velvet gloves like the liberal media has.

<![CDATA[That was the most DESPICABLE and DISGUSTING circus performance in the history of man. ABC should be ashamed and in particular, George S and Charlie G; they were no more journalists than I am, so they either need to go back to school or get out of the "news" business. News used to be about FACTS AND TRUTH, but "used to" must have died because there was nothing in that so called debate about fact or truth. We used to watch George S on Sunday mornings, but he can better believe that will NEVER happen again in our household. We never watched Charlie G because all he appeared to be was a panderer and fluff moderator. So if ABC did not learn anything from last night, they will certainly never learn - they were the WORST! SHAME ON YOU ABC, SHAME ON YOU ABC (and your so-called moderators - a fifth grader would have done a much better job!)

<![CDATA[True, but didn't Stephanopoulos end on bad terms with the Clintons? I thought he and Bill were on bad terms for awhile, at least.

<![CDATA[George Robert Stephanopoulos (born February 10, 1961) is an American broadcaster and political adviser. He is currently ABC News's Chief Washington Correspondent and the host of ABC's Sunday morning news show This Week. Prior to joining ABC News, he was a senior political adviser to the 1992 U.S. presidential campaign of Bill Clinton and later became Clinton's communications director.

And you wonder why the debate was ugly?? The moderators were actually on Clinton's side. I mean jeez, why don't we just have a pretend debate, and then..Oh wait we just did.
