      <![CDATA['...very difficult to believe...'?

    How about impossible to believe?

    As in unbelievable?

    As in un-fucking-believable?

The 'Coalition', the 'Combine', the 'Machine', et al ad nauseum, whatever you want to call these lying, cheating, back-stabbing, twisted, bent, thieving motherfuckers, the rule in politics is that every professional politician is a waste of sperm, unless and until proven otherwise.

    Until the citizens decide to:

    and, further, commit themselves to:

    VOTE IN EVERY ELECTION

    and, then, resolve to:

HAVE NO DOUBT, VOTE INCUMBENTS OUT

nothing, and I mean NOTHING, will change.

Democrats in power or Republicans in power, it's the same old shit warmed over, year after year after year after year.

To have honest, intelligent, rational, reasonable, beneficial and sane government requires taking the professional politicians out of politics.

Only the citizens can accomplish this, and ONLY if the citizens choose to do what they have, so far, chosen not to do, that being to:

HAVE NO DOUBT, VOTE INCUMBENTS OUT

<![CDATA[Let's be clear about this. What the "Coalition" wants is to gag anyone that disagrees with them, period. I have personally seen them label people as racist, xenophobic, and anti-immigrant simply for showing a desire to have our current laws enforced. If they really want to extinguish hurtful rhetoric, wouldn't they lead by example with their own rhetoric? The fact is they don't, which makes it very difficult to believe their aspirations are just.

Why don't you call da mayor out for what he is, along with his race baiting friends? You didn't seem to have a problem with da mayor when he attacked the white folk on the children museum.

<![CDATA[And while our elected representatives pander to these special interest groups by wasting the taxpayers time and money on nothing more than lip service to the issues they care about, we will continue to have little or no debate on public safety, TIF abuse, a deteriorating infrastructure, few alternatives to the rising cost of living, the criminal abuse of children by our county juvenile detention center, the gross neglect of our environment policies, the growing pension obligation problems that are bankrupting our governments at all levels, the torture of our neighbors by Commander Burge and tolerated by then States Attorney Daley, and the continuing use of technicalities to keep alternative choices off the ballot and too stifle much needed debate in this city.

The Change We Can Believe In - and exactly how is Chicago any different than what is going on in Zimbabwe?
