Well said. It's as though all these morons think they have to hang on the cross, too--or at least pretend to, given that most of these wanna-be martyrs can't handle the trivial pain of being called out (god, grade school must have been a nightmare), to say nothing of nails driven through flesh.

The hell there isn't. It's better to simply not buy the product (that is, ignore it) or fight back via your own speech instead of trying to deny access to the field for the presumed offender.

Here's the ancient tradition I want to throw out or, at the least, weaken as time goes on (and oddly never mention by right-wing dolts): The tendency of the paranoid, fearful, insecure majority to go like a hungry wolf against those groups who are different but who really don't threaten the power of said majority. In this case, that would be gays who, in my view, want nothing more than to be treated as full-fledged citizens like the rest of us.
