      <![CDATA[Lorraine is a great writer and a fantastic resource for these neighborhoods. I am glad she is seperating herself from the bloggers because those are mostly angry people with an axe to grind and has little to do with actual news.       <![CDATA[It sounds like a very good, and much needed venture that will be successful, but I took offense to: 
    "I want to put out a news product people can rely on as a record for the neighborhoods. I'm not slamming citizen journalists, but I want to treat this as a news product."
    This implies that what citizen journalists are putting together is not a news product. If not a news product that is "consumed" by the reader, than what is it?
