Re: “Man who allegedly punched 11-year-old outside Lollapalooza also makes shitty EDM

It turns out Queen of Cashmere is owned by Caron Slimak:

The Queen of Cashmere blog (http://queenofcashmere.com/daybook/) has a number of references to her son, Conrad. A post from last June (http://queenofcashmere.com/daybook/midnigh…) has a little information about her son:

"It was a worrisome weekend. Teenagers have the ability to make parents fret and lose sleep. My son is 18 and a muscular 195 lb. Smart, too. But on the nights he goes out with his friends, until I hear that front door open and his footsteps, I sleep very little.

Last night, wide awake in bed, I thumbed through my Kindle library looking for a book to occupy my mind until Conrad came home."

Re: “We made it through Lollapalooza

Will: Let me clear up a couple things for you. I went to Lollapalooza this year because I was genuinely interested in seeing a lot of the bands. If I'm as cynical about the festival as you claim that I am, I wouldn't have attended. Many of the acts I looked forward to seeing suffered due to horrific sound and I was shocked by the general atmosphere... but that's my opinion, and I wouldn't be doing my job if I didn't include that in the post-Lolla piece. Just like I wouldn't be doing my job if I held back on sharing those moments I also enjoyed, which you fail to take into perspective.

You appear to be a big fan of Lollapalooza--that's great, I'm glad you enjoy the fest. If you decide to attend the new version that's happening in Tel Aviv next year, let me give you a quick pointer. Leor is a pretty common name in Israel, so please don't invoke "Eeyore" if someone with my name doesn't share your devotion to the Lollapalooza brand lest you appear to be willfully ignorant of the local culture and other people's perspective.

Elia Einhorn will continue fronting Scotland Yard Gospel Choir despite moving to New York; he and SYGC are working on a new album.
