Re: “What Trump could learn from Chicago’s kleptocracy

You trolls are hilarious. No counter-argument just insults, but still hilarious.

Re: “Think a vote for Trump is a vote against the machine? Think again.

If you want to find the real fascists, listen for the war drums and follow the money. By this simple measure, Clinton is much more of a fascist than Trump. She advocates much more aggressively for conflict, and has consistent track record of this, and she has been bought out by major corporations and banks. This is not conspiracy theory. This is a simple fact. Her more progressive positions are those that she has calculated would earn her the presidency. This is why she has flip-flopped so hard on so many issues. She was essentially forced into these positions by the strength of the Sanders campaign. If we want a better world we have to hold her accountable as president. My criticism is not to suggest Trump should be president. Nothing could be more horrifying or embarrassing to me as an American. But we should know who we are really voting for and what she really stands for. Remove the slick sheen that the Clinton campaign has covered itself in and see what's left. Then act accordingly.

Re: “Will Mayor Rahm use taxpayer money to settle Tony Rezko’s debts?

Ahh, love the frothing-at-the-mouth entitled rich whiners complaining about honest, transparent use of tax dollars. Don't you have some gold coins to count, some Ayn Rand to read or some poor folks to fuck over? Or is it so upsetting to read a little criticism that you just can't help but bitch moan and troll Joravsky's columns? Isn't your portfolio strong enough, your deals lucrative enough, your connections deep enough to help you feel just a little more secure than all that?

Re: “Mayor Rahm wants to spend $16 million on high-end apartments

Bradley, the area is not blighted. So how is it we should subsidize it at all? Can I get a subsidy for my music studio if someone from the mayor's office calls it blighted? And do these developers need a gold star for spending their own money? Maybe a plaque at Montrose beach would be better. The 5% affordable housing is not being done out of compassion. There is a financial penalty for not doing so. The motives are all for financial gain. Period. By all means, profit, but not with public money.

Re: “Mayor Rahm wants to spend $16 million on high-end apartments

There goes our money. There goes the neighborhood. What's left of Uptown's old grittiness and diversity is about to be stomped out at our expense. Hope the shameless leeches who profit off of this monstrosity feel just a hint of remorse for this crime, but I doubt they will.
