I actually meant to mention how much d-beat's on the record. Whoops.
Tim, the $5 figure was a guess on my part based on seeing similar RSD releases in the past. I'm a little stunned that list on these is over $5 because THAT IS COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS. Hope you don't get any pissed off customers based on my figure.
But see, cat piss has--or rather I assume it has, based on its smell--a really strong flavor. There are many things to be said about Miller Lite, but "strong flavor" isn't one of them.
I'm sure MillerCoors will do fine. They've got the money to make sure that obsolete post-Prohibition laws that inadvertently handicap small brewers don't get replaced with more sensible regulations.
@123 I noticed a while back that they had them on sale at the bar in the live room at Schubas. Looks like you can order them from their website, so I'm guessing they still have them in stock: http://schubas.com/Page/Other+Stuff
@wtf Actually the bit about changing social habits was a reference to the vast number of people who keep a pair of little white earbuds between themselves and the rest of the world, but I’m willing to address your concerns about file sharing. As a person with a lot of friends in the music industry, and as a musician with a record that’s been downloaded off of Rapidshare more times than it’s been purchased, I would love it if more people paid for more music. But the file sharing genie’s already out of the bottle, and trying to convince or force people not to trade music is a less effective use of our time and energy than finding other ways for musicians to get paid for their work. We’re in the middle of a transition from record sales being a primary source of income—an era that only lasted for 50 years or so—to some other paradigm that’s still being figured out. A lot of good musicians are unfortunately getting screwed in the process, but I don’t think that music as a profession is about to go away.
@MikeB
I agree. Good work on that.
Still sounds like a vocoder to me.

@Tower B12 So not only are you a snob and a drag but you're also classist?
