I know the place just opened, but the service is still uneven at best. The food is good, we especially liked the artichoke. There has been a lot of thought that went into the wine selection by the glass. The place is pricey, but expected for the neighborhood.
The best diner. Everything is as it should be food wise; crisp bacon, solid sandwiches, perfect pancakes. The service could be better, but it is a diner.
Pretty decent you-get-what-you-expect kinda place. Burgers are fresh and decor is new and shiny. Missed the rush so the service wasn't bad. Maybe they were fresh, but I thought the fries were superior. My only gripe is the nickle and diming on the extras like grilled onions.
Nice BYO spot that recalls some soul food classics. Desserts are homey and delicious. Can get loud, and seating feels tight, but keeps people moving through.

Calling Bill Abolt "respected" is a little bit of a stretch. How about just plain ole' Budget Director Bill Abolt. He was at Budget not Enviroland.
What about the cars and CPD? Second City Cop went on a long rant about it.
