A lot less expensive than Steppenwolf's The Motherf**ker With the Hat and probably more authentic, considering this is an autobiographical reliving through childhood events, from multiple points of view and mentions a lot of similar culture. I haven't seen Steppenwolf's production, but I was looking for a New York fix and I found it here.
