As if Rush Limbaugh wasn't rife enough with satiric potential all by himself, this follow-up to Rod Blagojevich Superstar! casts him as the savior of the world. The tale of Limbaugh's rise features slapstick duo Rumsfeld & Rove, ironic winks to the Obama administration, a show-stopping Rent parody, and chilling musical numbers like "You Can't Argue With Jesus." Mark Sutton is savvy and uncanny as Limbaugh, finding unexpected laughs in the man's hateful remarks, and the remainder of the cast (which includes Cayne Collier of venerable sketch troupe Brick) are game for whatever odd character needs playing. Matt Hovde, the whiz-kid director behind Second City ETC's current hit Studs Terkel's Not Working, demonstrates a knack for balancing outrageous whimsy with harsh truth. --Steve Heisler
