Committed, monogamous, amiably neurotic, Steve and Larry have a three-year-old son and a wedding planned. While in Philadelphia on business, the twosome engage in a threesome with a handsome stranger. Afterward, Steve decides he wants more, but Larry needs convincing. This situation could be enough on which to base a full-length play, but not in the hands of Peter Mercurio, whose script keeps the stakes low and the characters static. He tries to gussy things up a little with Steve's fantasies of a polyamorous future, and incorporates the City of Brotherly Love's history, but these efforts remain halfhearted and tangential. Patrick Walsh's genial production seems designed to get through it all with minimum damage. Presented by Bailiwick Repertory as part of its Pride Series, this comedy runs in rep with
