The title of this beguiling cinema-verite documentary is the zip code for Sidney, Ohio, a picturesque river valley town small enough that its high school football and county fairs are big draws but large enough that the crime rate is giving a good cop battle fatigue (he laments that he's arresting kids on the same charges for which he busted their parents years ago). Instead of pronounced narrative arcs, the movie generates rhythms from fleeting details, like the shot of a barber frustrated that his client is jabbering too much to sit still, or the pan from an Elvis impersonator to the stagehand who unwittingly upstages him. Directors Turner Ross and Bill Ross IV, brothers and native sons of Sidney, find poetry in images of the mundane: carnival rides swirl into a cascade of light, football players trot onto the field under a hazy night sky, and low-angle shots of the downtown area during a blizzard glow ethereally. 93 min.
