A lot of the attention—positive and negative—that Chuck Inglish and Mikey Rocks have attracted has focused on their predilection for tight pants, which almost entirely misses the point. As joints like “Black Mags” and “Gold and a Pager” show, their taste in retro beats is even better than their taste in streetwear, and in the higher-profile cameos their newfound fame has earned them they’ve shown themselves capable of holding their own with some heavyweight rappers.
