Update: C.T. Ballentine has been found. At 2:30 PM family members said a "disoriented and tired" Ballentine had turned up in a local hospital. They thank everyone for their help and support. Additional updates will be posted on the Facebook page. Tonight's event at the Whistler has been canceled.

Writer and musician C.T. Ballentine hasn't been seen since Friday, and his friends are asking for help in finding him.

The co-editor of local literary magazine The2ndHand and a sound engineer, Ballentine was last seen on Friday, November 6th at 3 PM in his McKinley Park apartment wearing cut-off pants over sweatpants and a jean jacket. A missing persons report has been filed with the Chicago Police. Contrary to the report, Ballentine has blue eyes, not brown. He also has a newly shaved head and tattoos of a flower on his left forearm and a man with a cassette deck head on his right bicep.

A Facebook group has been created, along with flyers that will be distributed throughout the city. Those who would like to help post them can pick up flyers tonight at "So You Think You Have Nerves of Steel", a new event at the Whistler that Ballentine is scheduled to host tonight.
