Cycle Chic: The Tweed Ride

On Saturday British Bicycles of Chicago hosted its second annual tweed ride in honor of Guy Fawkes Night (which was actually November 5). Participants dressed up in their tweedy best and meandered from north side to south side, stopping for sustenance at various taverns along the way. The unseasonably warm weather didn't prevent them from displaying plenty of proper Brit-style elegance—even the guys, who looked dapper in caps, vests, and knickers (and even a kilt).
