Atalaya wins. More to follow.
*FWIW, I'm totally ignorant of bankruptcy law, so I don't know what would happen in the event of appeal, if one should happen.
Update: I'm told that an appeal is impossible, so it's actually over. Ben Eason "said he's ready to launch a new Web-only community newspaper." St. Pete Times: "Eason suggest his new media company would adopt the 'Planet' name. The former name of the Tampa weekly was the Weekly Planet."
Update II: "Eason vowed to start a new enterprise within days."

Christ. Good riddance to the worst-named company I've ever heard of. And good luck all of you. There's still great things you can do.
I am reminded of something Glenn Close said to Uma Thurman in Dangerous Liaisons - "When it comes to husbands, one man is as good as another." The same can be said of corporate overlords. Once you're owned by a large, distant corporation, it really doesn't matter which one.
