Olympic fever: can't hardly wait

Posted by Whet Moser on Tue, Apr 15, 2008 at 4:41 PM

Over at Chicagoist the spin on the Blue Line derailing (amongst the commenters) is that maybe, just maybe, the 2016 Olympics (now with 84% approval!) would be an excuse to update our sorry CTA system. Self-blackmail: probably not the healthiest approach, but you do what you can around here. I still say don't trust any idea 'till you see it on a t-shirt.

I wonder where they found that 84% that want the Olympics? Probably all the polling was done in City Hall & the 16% that were against were ordinary people in the building as opposed to the good for nothing city hacks that obey the Little King & said bring it on!
