Looking for something to do today? Agenda's got you covered.

Group 312 Films, a collective of local directors who make digital films, has been busy creating one short work each month for the past six months, and it's time to screen the best of them tonight at Chicago Filmmakers. Directors include Kevin B. Chatham, Chris Mann, Richard Syska, Brian Klien, Dave Purdle, and Joe Hahn; each attend the screening to discuss their creative processes.

Dress to impress the cosmos for Prom9, an intergalactic-themed formal benefiting tutoring center 826Chi's creative-writing program. The shindig includes a silent auction, raffle, drinks, and, in an attempt to help you relive the best night of your life, dancing—this time without your date vomiting on your shoes. Check it out at the Saint Vincent de Paul Center Gymnasium.

Bobby Rush is proof to all of us that age is just a number. In Soundboard, David Whiteis writes that, after more than 50 years in the music business, "his shows are still some of the most uncompromising down-home entertainment you’ll find on the contemporary blues and soul-blues circuits." Rush performs at Buddy Guy's Legends tonight with Planetary Blues.
