Looking for something to do today? Agenda's got you covered:

It's been 25 years since Abbie Hoffman left us and Mary-Arrchie Theatre started its annual Abbie Hoffman Died for Our Sins Theatre Festival. This year's proceedings begin today at 2 PM with the traditional five-mile march from Daley Plaza (50 W. Washington) to the Den Theatre and continue with nonstop performances and films for the next 72 hours. It's what Abbie would've wanted.

Billed as a "series of ten unexpected encounters of performance art in public spaces," Out of Site sticks performance artists in random places in Wicker Park and Bucktown to interact with their surroundings—and vice versa. At the risk of tampering with the "unexpected" part of their creative vision, we're telling you that the series kicks off at the Western Blue Line el stop this evening with Hayley Morgenstern (and continues elsewhere every Friday through October 11).

"Chicago experimental indie-rock duo Gauntlet Hair . . . released a self-titled album a couple years ago distinguished by a handful of woozy noise-pop songs. They weren’t necessarily original . . . but they were totally infectious," writes Leor Galil in Soundboard. Catch the band's set at Empty Bottle. Population and Magical Beautiful open.
