Looking for something to do today? Agenda's got you covered:

The chameleonic Bobby Conn is the latest musician to be featured in the Hideout's Tuesday Night Residency series. Each week the art-rock-inspired Conn, with help from wife Monica Boubou, will perform a different style of music alongside a rotating cast of local musicians. Tonight's theme is musicals ballads.

"Dutch singer-songwriter Jacco Gardner makes 60s-style psych pop that's lushly trippy, carnivalesque, even a little waltzy—he's often compared to the likes of Syd Barrett, Brian Wilson, and the Zombies," writes Kevin Warwick in Soundboard. Check him out at the Empty Bottle. Mmoss, Beliefs, and DJs Psyched Alex and LSDino open.

Held at Black Rock Pub & Kitchen, Pungent Parlour is a monthly reading series featuring a rotating cast of local authors who share original fiction and essays.
